What is this 3.3v line doing?
fanwind , 07-16-2024, 10:01 PM
I finished my custom esp32 pcb design on easy eda, but this brown 3.3v airway coming from top left appeared, and seems to be going to the middle gnd pads of the esp32? How do i get rid of it?

it looks like it still need to be connected to power

Just a language thing, but you do not "get rid of it" you "resolve the issue".

But the question is: where is the ratsnest pointing to? It is usually to the center of pad/via, but does not appear to be the case here.

I have no idea. Someone else on Reddit has this exact issue. It seemed to have went away when I moved all the vias in a certain way…

I’m thinking it’s a glitch?

Did you fully connect the power? If not, don't spend too much time thinking about that rast net. I completely ignore these - actually during layout I do not use them at all, I hide them. Sometimes they can point to vias or other elements somewhere, they are useful during placement, but they are not very useful during layout.

Yes I fully connected power, then moved some vias very slightly and it went away. Will ignore them next time until I fully connect
