I'd say you need models of the components and the board. Do not forget all the parasitics.

You are using two words that are mutually exclusive: PDN and simple.
PDN can be two things
1) The voltage drop over polygons. Traces are simple to calculate, but polygons have weird shapes so you want to use PDN tools for that.
2) The effect of the whole power delivery. This includes the inductances, capacitances and resonances.
In part point 1 is included in point 2, except that it is not just purely a resistance you want to know.
Point 1 is not possible in PSpice (that I know of), for point 2 it is possible as I mentioned in the beginning.
