Cannot find "vmx53 viI2.PcbDoc" given in Course2013Q1L7-1280x720-1000CBR-MEE.mp4

svarg , 06-02-2016, 02:41 PM
Hi, I have started Course 7 of "Schematic Design & PCB Layout"
As shown in the beginning of the video, I prepared the VOIPAC project "iMX53_BB_V1I2.PrjPcb”.
But later on, only the file "vmx53 viI2.PcbDoc" is used, which I cannot find in the zip file
"course2013q1-Lesson-7.zip".
Where can I find this file?
Thank you very much.

@svarg, please, what Activity are you referring to? Sometimes in videos I may use temporary files which are not needed for Activities.

Hi Robert,
I am not referring to an activity yet.
Actually, I do not have my own project. So I am using the prepared the VOIPAC project "iMX53_BB_V1I2.PrjPcb”.
But I am wondering now how to practice later placement of e.g. CPU or placing memory on top and on bottom with the prepared the VOIPAC project.
It doesn't contain memory to place on top and bottom or a cpu...

Which directory are you using? There are several: course2013q1-Lesson-7 (3).zip\Lesson 7\COURSE\Design Files\VOIPAC\

Hi Robert,
At the beginning I started with Lesson 7\COURSE\Design Files\VOIPAC\Base Board - Step 1 - NEW PCB\V1I2\iMX53_BB_PCB_V1I2.PcbDoc.

Now, I think, I found the suitables documents in \Lesson 7\COURSE\Design Files\VOIPAC\iMX53 module\V1I1
For example : VOIPAC iMX53 DDR Layout - *.PcbDoc
Are those files sufficient for practicing?

Hi @svarg I apologize for late replay. Yes, you can use the files for practicing. You can actually use any files you like, feel free to delete some stuff from the files and re-do it again based on what you learned in the particular lesson or what you would like to practice most.
