Module and Baseboard compatibility

Hi Robert, I started my rex module design from the project file thats given in L1 - 02 - Components Placement Under BGA. Initially, I plan on buying the baseboard from VOIPAC to test my module as soon as possible and reduce risk of failing in order to move on to another design. I realised VOIPAC has two different pins from your design on J1 connector, VOIPAC uses I2C instead of GPIO on pin 35 & 37, see attachements. The rest of the pins seem the same. Will my design based on the schematics given in your lesson be compatible with the baseboard sold at VOIPAC?

If I remember right, I2C4 is avaialable only on some iMX6 processors (there are differences between SOLO, DUAL and QUAD). You may want to check iMX6 datasheet for that pins. (I am not 100% sure, but I think I2C4 was one of the differences)
