Xubuntu rootfs in openrex

Hi,
We are trying to run the linux zImage-imx6q-openrex image and the imx6rex-xubuntu-13-04-production-04-AUG-2014 in my openrex im6q board.
The board is connected to a HDMI monitor, but it is not showing any GUI of the xubuntu. It is only showing a terminal.
We tried to run GUI using startx, but is throws error. We have tried some changes in the uboot witout success.
Can you please advise ?

Hi Robert,
We have already tried the settings in the link you gave. But we are not getting any X Window when we use the xubuntu file system and zimage that is provided in your website.
We are getting X window when running the yocto rootfs that was shipped along with the openrex board. But we would like to run the xubuntu that supports apt-get, Qt etc

Ah, then you need to follow the Jasbir's instructions: "service lightdm start"
