As a mechanical engineer currently collaborating with electrical engineers, I have developed a keen interest in the intricacies of electrical engineering . I am particularly eager to understand the process of designing electronic systems, from initial requirements to final implementation. My goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of how to select a System on Chip (SoC) based on specific needs, determine the appropriate power supply, and delve into the details of schematic design and board routing. Additionally, I am interested in learning about conducting Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), Signal Integrity (SI), and Power Integrity (PI) assessments. I would also appreciate guidance on key aspects to monitor during and after these processes. Could you please provide information on courses or resources that would be suitable for someone with my background and objectives?

In my opinion you are asking: "I'm mechanical engineer and want to be electrical engineer". Best source would be to go to university and learn electrical engineering. SOC is definitely advanced topic. You can always watch Robert videos about these topics. Robert also has many courses on his web page. Also udemy is source where you can find a lot of courses. You can start with learning Altium or KiCad, but the knowledge behind schematic and understunding the art of electronics comes with practise and with time.

Going back to university and learning is not an option. I did a few courses from edx and Coursera for electrical engineering. I have taken courses on controls digital processing during my Master's.
Currently, I am looking for a project-based course that walks through the process. Robert has many courses on his website, and I want some guidance on the requirements needed to kick-start the course.
Udemy is an excellent platform. I tried a few courses, but they were not engaging to me.

Do you want to take a course Altium or Kicad based? I have not gone through Robert courses, but i would choose by description one of the beginners courses if you have no prior knowledge about Kicad or Altium.

I would read also books. I could recommend Eric Bogatin on signal integrity topics. Robert has some videos with him as well. Rick Hartley is another good source.

If we talk about Advanced Digital Hardware Design, you should have previous knowledge about designing ciruitry and PCB-s.
