Advanced Digital Hardware Design course change Mezzanine connector to HDMI compatible Board2Board co

Janos Pinczes , 11-26-2024, 10:58 AM
Hello,
I need some advice, how to choose or connector suggestion. Based on the Advanced Digital Hardware Design course Phil's use two Mezzazine connector (BA41-80BT-1-PHB) to transfer differential pair signals.
According to my plan, the connector needs to be HDMI signal compatible (100Ohm diff and 50 single). Other PCB design using ASP-134488-01 connector, but it is huge for me.
Any suggestion or part number for HDMI comaptible connector?
Thank you,
Janos

So what is your question exactly?
What do you need? A connector - sure. 50 ohm single ended - not problem. How many pin? Height? Length? Width? Cost? Board-to-board? Stacking height?
There are so many to choose from https://www.digikey.nl/en/products/filter/rectangular-connectors/arrays-edge-type-mezzanine-board-to-board/308
