I have a question about the mechanical layer set up. In the lecture 6, one mechanical layer was set to the board outline. What does the other mechanical layer do (mechanical layer 1), which is enabled.

Hello @flyforward. You can use the mechanical layers for anything you want (and you can use any numbers you like). Normally, we use the layers for Manufacturing Notes, Board Outline, Mechanical layer, Assembly Top & Bottom layers, License, .....
