Hello I'm an Electrical Engineering student and currently I want to learn about motherboard designing. I'm a beginner in designing circuits and can't figure out where to start. Can anyone give me some suggestions regarding it?

What kind of motherboards? But if you mean like x86 PC motherboards, that is almost impossible to learn just by yourself at home - it's super expensive (requires a lot of money to build and a lot of time to design + BIOS development, firmware design etc) and you need to have access to documents under NDA.

you didn't specify what kind of mother boards - but ideally you would like to find a job in a company that designs the boards you would like to design. if you cant find the job in your dream company than any company where you can get experience (ideally with processor board design) is ok and later you can try your dream company.

Thanks for this. I'm interest in chip designing and is currently making an 8 bit CPU on a breadboard. You can check out the progress in my LinkedIn. So as per your suggestion I think taking up the task of designing a processor board would be a great way to expand my knowledge.
