Hello Everybody (:
I reach out to you for help.
I have to create multiple components which are almost similar. I want to create them through a delphi script and have no clue how it works. I scripted it with Chat-GPT, but after lots of hours of trial and error, I gave in. Please could you provide some useful information or could you point out the mistakes within the code? Or maybe there is a better solution?

Here´s what I tried to realize:

I have a CSV table which has in the first column the name of the component and in the second row the description of it.
I want to create the component with an existing symbol as well as an existing footprint. (each component gets the same symbol and footprint)
The component should get saved in an existing folder.

The footprint, symbol and folder where the component wants to be saved are in my workspace folders. The csv data is from my C:\ - drive.
Each name of the component is the same except for the value of resistance. To give you a picture, it´s about a sample book for Resistors and Capacitors (different sizes). In total there are a huge number of components which I have to create myself otherwise.

If it is for a large amount of resistors, capacitors, etc. perhaps it is better to use a database library.
