Component Searching in all libraries
Artem , 09-22-2018, 09:38 PM
Hello!
My goal is to select all Components in all Libraries of the current Project and to change some parameter of all of them at once either via Inspector or another tool.
I know how to do that for the current opened Library using "Find Similar Objects" tool and Inspector. But it seems the scope is limited to the current Library only. Any ideas?
Thank you!

Did you try Parameter manager?

Hi, Robert, thank you for answer. Yes I tried Parameter Manager and I like this tool very much, but it looks like it is the same scope problem with it. i.e. it can list only those Parts within the exact library, at least at my version of Altium which is 17.1. I am looking for an option to select Parts from like "All open libraries" or "All libraries of the same project". Not it completely stopped the whole work since I've posted this issue, but rather now I just wonder.

I am not sure if there is a tool to browse through components in multiple libraries at once. What I have usually seen, I had to select one of the libraries.
