Component contants turned to green
KernelPanic , 08-10-2018, 02:20 AM
Hello, why are some component(s) contants turned to green color once I place them to PCB like in screenshot?

Hello @KernelPanic ,
The "Green" color in Altium indicates there are "Design Rule Check" (DRC) violations in the design. There are 2 options you can do here.
1. Resolve those errors and the "green" color will be cleared. (Recommended option)
2. Reset error markers.
This will reset all the error marks but will not resolve the errors, they will still be present and appear next time when you run DRC.
For your particular case it seems that " Online DRC" is enabled in the tool, this feature provides the live DRC Violation based on the configured Rule.
You can also turn this off by Preference -> PCB Editor -> General -> Un-check the "Online DRC" option -> Apply.
Thank you.

Nice hints, thank you very much, it works now! It was nothing wrong with the component itself, I just had to reset error markers.
