About Errors After Updating Schematics In PCB
mulfycrowh , 04-12-2019, 02:19 PM
Hi,
I'm using Altium 19.
I forgot to assign the footprint to a component.
Altium didn't forget not to show up the component onto the PCB.
No problem !
I fixed the issue by adding the footprint to the component in the library.
Deleted the component from the schematic.
Put the new component onto the schematic.
Didn't forget to assign the designator.
Compiled the project without any error.
As I go to Design > Updating Schematics In PCB, execute changes, I've got many errors as shown on the attached screenshot.
I also have other errors. First of all, I would like to solve the ones about this connector (P5).
How could I solve this ?
Thanks to everyone.

I did the process one more time and finally the connector has shown up.
But, as shown on the attached screenshot, errors are still remaining.

Is your PCB already routed? If not, delete the components what are making problems from PCB and sync the SCH and PCB again.
If your components are routed or placed, maybe go to Project -> Component Links and double check them. Altium assigns unique numbers to symbols and footprints and then it Pairs them together. So, if you do some changes in footprints which are in your PCB, this connection may be broken and Altium then doesn't know what footprints in your PCB belong to what symbols in your schematic.

The Project is not routed.
The components are placed.
In the mean time, I had to change some other things in Pcb & Schematics libraries.
I have stated that Design > Import Changes From … solves the issues.
